The road is walked together.
Kumpania is a Romani word. It names the band of families who travel and work the road as one: separate wagons, separate names, one house.
The word
A kumpania was never a company in the settled sense. It was families who chose each other, moved together, worked together, and answered for each other. If one wagon dealt badly, the whole road heard of it, so nobody dealt badly. Your name travelled with you, and the kumpania's name travelled with your name.
That is the oldest quality system there is, and it is the one this house runs on.
The family
The Kumpania was founded by Chaya, a Romani medium. Her family has read cards, interpreted dreams, and worked the old ways for generations, taught at kitchen tables and passed hand to hand, mother to daughter, father to son. Her father David reads. Her daughter Ren builds and reads. The craft was never a costume in this family. It was a livelihood, carried carefully, because a bad reading cost the family its name.
You will find no crystal-ball theatre here, and no borrowed mysticism. The house speaks about its heritage with pride and with restraint, because it is real, and real things do not need decoration.
Chaya
"I spent five years reading alone before I understood what my grandmother meant: the gift is yours, but the road is walked together."
Chaya works in writing. Over five years her written readings have reached tens of thousands of people around the world, from her own house at chayathemedium.org. She answers slowly, in full pages, because a reading you can hold and reread beats a rushed minute on a clock.
The Kumpania is what she built next: a way to teach the craft properly, hold it to a standard, and put real names back on the work.
Why a house
The big psychic platforms are bazaars. Hundreds of anonymous profiles, per-minute meters, no shared standard, and no name that answers for the work. Some readers there are gifted. You have no way to know which.
The Kumpania is the opposite shape. Few readers, every one trained in the same method, every one certified against the same standard, every one carrying their real name and face. The house does not hide its readers behind a brand. It stands behind them.
